Hi folks.

I'm a Dubai pro with experience in Bahrain and Thailand among lesser-known places.

I want to thank all of you for the information on this site and these boards. There is a wealth of knowledge here. I lurked for a bit and then joined! Got my card and got my tickets

I'll be headed down this Friday for 10 days. Used Delta miles and $50.

Got my CRT discount at the SL for 4 nights and booked into the Cocal for the following weekend.

Still deciding on transportation options but I'm sure it'll all work out.

I loved those A-listers in DXB but I can't wait for the $80 (or less) specials down there.

I hope there's some folks to talk to and wing up with while I'm there.

I tried to do the quote function and even with directions couldn't handle it. Technology kicks my butt sometimes.
