Hey,

I'm going for the first time to Riu Palace Costa Rica, wanted to know a few things. A bunch of guys aged 23 to 27, so we are looking to party and see the country.

1. How's the party life? Recommend any clubs in Liberia/Sardinal?
2. Devil's medication how much? Where can It?
3. Any girls around the area?
4. Excursions, best to get them from guy on the beach?

Any recommendations? Advice?

Please and thank you!

I doubt you would even be able to bring any girls into your room in that place.

These 4 and 5 star places don't want any hookers on their property because they are usually very family-oriented.

If you think you and your buddies are gonna party it up with naked women running around, you can probably forget about it at any RIU.

If there is still time to bail, do so. Your crew ain't going to be happy. I drove up there for a wedding last year.

Nice place outside--kind of Vegas; rooms 3 + star maybe, maybe 5 star in CR, so-so. Bed bug alert, true or not don't know--people that were telling me said a doc in their group confirmed.

Really pretty far from anything but the hotel. On a so-so beach, dark grey/brown sand. A beach bar not part of the hotel a ways down. No parties in the rooms allowed. Stodgy I think is appropriate. Have to wear a wristband. The pools were really cool looking but all of them right next to each other in one area. I remember the hotel band that was playing supposedly for one pool with gringo middle of the road fav's in effect was playing to all of the pools.

All inclusives bring out the worst in people--the times allowed for this and that, etc. People lining up afraid to miss out. Hotel bars close at 12. Maybe buy a few quarts duty free at the airport before you get on their bus with 70 others. I was there when it arrived. I thought oh man this is not for me. The whole place and environment is not CR for a second other then the staff.

If it's too late to cancel, you are going to be taking taxis or their expensive shuttle to Playa Coco to party, at least 10 miles--seems like 10 miles just to get back to the main road. You are out in nowhere.

CoCo has its pros and cons, kind of dumpy, but if your stuck, you'll have fun. Lots of bars and the like. Be careful in CoCo, of course. Popular with the younger Tico crowd on week ends who are also going to party hardy.

Liberia is 35 km from CoCo. To me, not worth it. Did you think about renting a car at the Liberia airport--I assume you are landing there, otherwise forget this idea. Dirt cheap this time of year especially splitting the bill. It'll pay for itself going back and forth to CoCo and there are a few other really nice beaches not far.

Alot of day trips/excursions available in the area, book thru the hotel, it'll be the same fee. Head to the docks in CoCo and arrange your own boat trip for whatever reason.Set it up for the next day. Negotiable.

How much is an escort typically? and Mary J?

Also, how much would you need for spending money?

Like the adventure tours eg. ziplining atv'ing, how much are they?
