It ALWAYS amuses me when guys try to say this place is ever a sausage fest. I get that there is competition for specific women, BUT this place is as good as you make it. You can always go to other venues and bring women along. Which I do understand some guys are incapable of doing so(not to insult anyone).

I will say that some of the reason the women do not come around is because there are not enough men around. That is why guys go straight to Jaco now. Because a lot of the women are going there. Also, again not to insult anyone, but a lot of the guys here are too busy tryin to low ball these women. I get that guys don't wanna pay a hundo for bad service, but a lot of times bad service starts with a guy tryin to save $5-$10. You need to get a feel for the girl first, then work on negotiations. If you are an in and out guy, you still want good service not a dead fish.

So if you are thinking of coming down during that time, just know that competition for certain girls will be high, but also the girls need to put forth the right effort or it will be passed along very quickly amongst the guys. I always enjoy the party.

Sorry for the rant, but after my short time here in this country I have observed that the men create the market here. So get your a$$es down here and help bring the market back up.

For a newbie, that is good advice (this is the newbie section after all). If it is your first time here, you are going to have a good time, regardless. However, as you go more frequently, especially if you have greater freedom regarding your finances and time to go when you want, it becomes natural to develop certain preferences.

I've been hitting CR for years now, and I agree that you can always have a good time here. HOWEVER, I have found that the more I go, the more I chose to tailor my trips to meet my ideal. And why not? Because of my type of work, going on Halloween weekend, or the weekend before, or the weekend after, or even in the middle of the week makes no difference to me.

Here is another example. I have a favorite hotel room. If that room isn't available, I just change my trip and go a week earlier or a week later to get my favorite room. It may sound nuts, but why not? The specific date I go doesn't mean anything for me. I don't have any boss at work or a wife at home that I have to ask permission to take off specific days.

Regarding the sausage fest, for me, it is less about competition for specific women. There are ALWAYS women available. It is more about having too many dudes around period. I like it when it is quieter and calmer. Some guys love having lots of other guys around, because they love the "brotherhood" of other mongers. Not me. I much prefer the calmer enviornment of having fewer guys around, EVEN IF it means that there will be fewer women around. I actually like the Del Rey in the afternoon much more than the Del Rey at night. It is all about personal preference, and if you have the choice to have your preference, why wouldn't you take it?

HDR will have their Holloween party on Saturday, Oct. 26 (I called and asked for a manager and she said they always have their Holloween party the last Saturday in October).

Whereas the SL will have their party this year on November 2.

With or without a costume, you will have a memorable night in SJ.
