Going to a villa near Ocotal Beach area and looking to escape to SJ for a couple days

So I am going for 7 days trip to CR for a good friends wedding. We are staying in a villa near Ocotal.

After doing some reseach I realized getting to an area with some action is not as easy as I expected.

So I am arriving on a Saturday afternoon, the first couple of days the group will be doing various excursions and it will be ideal

time to sneak away to SJ. My plan is to get back to Liberia Sunday morning and ride the Pulmitan bus line to SJ hopefully arriving

in the early afternoon. Looks like its around 4.5 hrs and $7 each way according to what I saw, although I couldnt get their website

to work. Im planning to stay at Sportsmens Lodge Sunday night, and will play it by ear from there. I will either head back Monday or

Tuesday morning, depending on how I am feeling in SJ.

1. Is the Pumitan the best option?
2. I will be riding the bus during the daytime, is it safe for gringos?
3. Where does it drop me in SJ? or are there multiple stops? What would be the best stop for SL?
4. I am hoping the long bus ride will be through some nice country to look at, is that the case?
5. I saw something about Sunday being a slow day in that culture, is the slowdown really that significant?
6. Any other suggestions?
7. Why the Phuck couldnt my idiot friends have picked a resort closer to some action?

My plan for 2 days in SJ is to get in 2 sessions a day, trying 1 of each of the following types:

Massage:
New Fantasy
Relax
Idem
Eros

Strip Club:
Le Grillon
Pirate Club
Pantera Rose

Hotel:
HDR
HLH
SL

And then maybe try to hook up a 3some at one of the hotels.

I also am a big gambler so I would like to get in some craps/poker as well at Colonial/Horseshoe
