1st post and i appreciate all the info
i have been reading many posts

i am thinking of staying at HLH, the rooms look great
how is the atmosphere there?
i definitely enjoy the girls but i don't want to feel i am living in a brothel, if you know what i mean

i have read good reviews of the hotel and the bar, just thought i'd ask
thanks

I agree but if you find the atmosphere doesn't suit you, the Dunn Inn is only 2 blocks away. You can switch to there for the housing and use HLH for partying. I don't think you'll switch but it's always good to have options.

I stayed at HLH in early August and did not feel like I was staying in a brothel. It is a great place.

Actually it is, in the Shakespearean sense. That dude was telling his sister that if she was gonna act like a whore, she should put her talents to work in a whorehouse. And this came from the Protestant propaganda that nunneries (the other kind) were really only disguised brothels for priests, bishops and such. Very incendiary-scandalous...and Shakespeare's audiences were hip to the jive.
