Level you just don't get it--a good gesture with a small gift and you can build a herim instead of being a cheapeskate--you probably hitch-hike from the airport to the GULCH

100 women    how the hell can one man service that many women. Hell, I can barely handle one. Can you imagine 100 DR women living in the same house.....It would make Hurricane Katrina look like toilet water going down the drain....

Wow, this thread generated a fair amount of heat. Who would’ve thunk it? Such was not my intention.

Of course, I agree that it’s a very bad idea to give gifts (whether from VS or elsewhere) for just a run of the mill session.

Perhaps I should have clarified – this would be for something special: an all nighter, or multiple visits/sessions over multiple days, a trip to the beach, etc, with a lady that you had some kind of special relationship and history with.

And it goes without saying that you would not give a gift for bad or mediocre service, even in such a situation. It should only be for ladies that go above and beyond with their service.

To all those who gave thoughtful, considerate and helpful replies – muchas gracias! :P

Cheers,

TD

There is nothing wrong with buying gifts for the girls. And most importantly, don't tell me how to spend my money. I don't consider myself stupid in showing a little graditude. I can easily afford to do so. In my experience the niceness pays off in the long wrong. Treat them with respect and I think you will be happier. I think this is especially true at a place like SL or HLH where you will see the girls again after your expereince if you happen to be staying there.

While you guys are doing this pondering/buying for the Chicas: if you want to do some good women a real left-field favor, stop by the Goodwill/Salvation Army store before the trip and get some excellent quality purses or nice costume jewelry, and give them to the housekeeping/kitchen staff. I did this at the Dunn Inn once and have never seen such an unexpected flood of tears. Not in lieu of a propina, something a little else. Just a thought...
