Ok guys.

This year i've quickly put two trips to CR under my belt. I don't feel quite like a newbie anymore but I do have a couple of questions..

1. I spend a grand time last trip 3 out of 5 nights with a single girl. She's very nice and very popular here on this board. She would show up between 12 noon and 2 Pm and stay until the next morning at 6:00 (so I could get some sleep, lol). I was paying her about 220 with propina for this experience. This was my choice for her to stay that long but am I overpaying her or is just about right for the GFE experience? Please be realistic and don't say you can get a girl just like her for pocket change...

2. I really really like this place and feel that I've just scratched the surface, that being said I've thinking of taking a secret trip to CR. All of my other trips have been with a couple of guys and the stories that I tell are of 'Guy things' like drinking and ziplining and ATVs and fishing but I'm really here for the same reasons as everyone else is....I have a longterm GF back home that I will have to lie to so that I can get back this year by telling her I am in another city. There is no way that I can justify to her going back to CR again so soon. I really don't want to get caught, is there any sneaky guys out there who have done this as well and what things did you learn that did/almost did blow the cover story? I would be grateful for any suggestions..

This is my current don't list.

Pay cash for the room at SL.
Use a CR number to call back home but block the number on my cell.
Bring enough cash to cover expenses so no ATM is necessary.
Tell her that I'm on business and pick a flight that gets me back in about the same time as my flight back from CR.
Pay cash for the flight so that it doesn't show on the CC.

Anything else?

Your post reminds me of some lurking I did on this forum before I became a member. If I recall, there have been several long time members of this board who dealt with similar issues. I'm no fan of the deception or all the hoops you gotta go through to be happy but I understand your desire to keep things on the down low(DL).

I'll do my best to help. Here goes:

1. Did you have a good time? Did you enjoy your time with her? If so, then it was worth it. You paid 220 for practically a "toda la dia" through a "toda la noche." You wifed-up. Nothing wrong with that. I'd say that's a pretty good daily rate. Now that your back, expect to visit your local Western Union office whereby you'll find out how much she really costs. Muy rico, Pappi!

2. Don't do it. This is the cost that YOU pay to be in this game. You can't have it all. Dump the GF or stop mongering altogether or wait until next year when your situation doesn't cause further suspicion.

Start using magic jack tel at home, you'll have your own tel # which will work down there and she will be used to it and have no clue. Plus cheap. You aren't that stupid to start blocking your caller ID when you are sneaking.

Oh boy, does that bring back memories. The sneaking around, the lies, that feeling in the gut that you just have to get back to CR, she won't find out....

I did it for a while, fun stuff. If I may give you some straight forward advice...

YOU WILL LOSE! The fantasy world you are living in is so transparent, it's laughable. REALLY LAUGHABLE. Laughable because most of us have been in the same boat. We see it, we did it, we GET IT. YOU WILL LOSE!

I did it for a few trips over a couple of months, she caught on. I said fk it, I would rather be divorced and play in CR than be in this marriage (which was pretty good, not great, good for a marriage). So I divorced and spent the next 2 yrs going to CR 1-2 per month. Had the time of my life.

If I could go back and do it all over again, I would:
1. Tell her I want out after the second trip (I knew I was CR phucked), and get a divorce.
2. Kept my damn mouth shut about where I was going. Not everyone in my town and my family needs to know where I go.
A scorned female will throw your trash on the street.

Best of luck to you, I mean that, because you have a better chance of marrying a puta and have a perfect life than this ending well

re: cost for TLN ...


this past trip, paid one $150 for TLN. paid another $200 for TLN. both great girls and outstanding service, multiple pops. the only reason i paid the second girl $200 is because i have known her for years now, we are good friends.


however, the one who got $150 was *extremely* grateful while the one who got $200 was simply happy. go figure.


the last night of trip, i get a knock on my door. open to see the girl who received the $150. she threw me a freebie, partied. fantastic.


why the freebie? ... i'm not perfect, but i do stand by good hygiene, speaking as much spanish as possible, and being relaxed ... nothing better than getting the girl to laugh and have a good time. they seem to appreciate it, it makes their work that much less of a chore.



re: behind your GF's back ...


don't bother - just do the mongering thing. take that with a grain of salt ... this is a mongering board after all. if any ounce of respect for the gf (or yourself) don't drag her through this charade. just my opinion.

I would not try to hide where you are going. Way too many ways to get caught. Instead find non-mongering reasons to travel to Costa Rica.

(1) Buy some investment property. Besides all of the trips you have to make to close the deal, you have to come down twice a year from then on to pay the taxes. As far as I know, it still has to be done in person (though you can hire someone to do it for you). If you go this route, be sure to find a reputable realtor.

(2) Get some dental work done. Very low cost, especially for cosmetic things that are not covered by your dental insurance.
