I did it! :D I finally registered and decided to post up on CRT. I have been reading the boards for about a year through a friends account. I have been to CR twice, with trip #3 coming up in just two weeks with a big bachelor party group of friends. I got a lot of great advice and pointers from CRT and look forward to contributing as I become a lot more CR savvy.

Think of the money you would have saved by now by becoming a paid member. I'm just sayin ...

To corn a phrase--"The good is getting better and the best is yet to come." If your plans include an SJO stop, remember you and your party can get 1-year paid Membership at the Dunn Inn, and apply the discounts liberally and immediately. Don't forget our Monger Map as well--quite helpful even in a "civvy" context.

:o Jazz, I've come to expect a higher standard from you - the expression is "to coin a phrase" (whether or not it's corny is another matter!)

Can you say "malapropism"? :P :D

See, Brother, you got it in one. It is a corny saying and I was playing that up. Here's the origin of the portmanteau word malaprop: http://plays.about.com/b/2010/06/29/who ... laprop.htm << in this case, a blend of mal- (or bad/not) and apropos (appropriate). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_portmanteaus
Not to say I don't make mistakes (I step on my dick a lot), just not this time.

While you are getting savy, why not give back to the board by becoming a paid (VIP) member - welcome and all that, but while the board needs members to post, it also needs the financial support to continue on - plus, you will likely make up the cost of membership your first or 2nd trip :)

What "money" All he has invested is a few min's to register - do agree with you if you are speaking in general terms (as I suspect you are  ) the benefits of VIP membership :)
