Will be in San Jose from May 20-30. Weather says it is between 65-80 and rains most of the time.
I plan to stay in the city doing "things" and occasionally go to rain forest, volcano and canopy.
What do you suggest for clothing? I want to travel light. How about umbrella? Is canopy still doable with all the rains going on?
How about shoes? sneakers and Teva Sandals?
Thanks!

Agreed with Sr on this one. Mornings will be beautiful and warm. Early to mid afternoon it will cloud up and get chilly/humid then probably rain. Evenings can be chilly so bring a pair of jean or slacks or both. As for jungle wear, well, I am sure you probably know what you should bring for that. The light jacket is a good idea too because at any point in a day you may or may not need it here. Shorts are a must even though some folks on here may not agree because they think the culture does not accept it, but trust me they are fine for most days.

Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Thank you for all of your helpful suggestions!
With all of these rains going on, does it still make sense to go to the Rafting, Spa , Canopy? Are these areas mostly affected by the rain?
Thanks!
