I made my first trip to the Gulch on Halloween. The party at the sportsman was great. I planned on staying at the sportsman but it was booked up. I made reservations at the Dunn Inn. I was pleasantly surprised with the personal attention I received from Boyd and the Dunn Inn staff. Boyd personally took me under his wing an introduced me to the most famous working girls in all Costa Rica. He and fellow CRT were available to answer any question that I had about the local activities. This place is quiet an reserved, no chica fees an very nice clean rooms. There is an expansion that is almost complete. I cannot wait to return. I hope to be traveling again south in February. It was the most comfortable ,friendly an relaxing stay of anywhere I have ever traveled.

I agree I also stayed at Dunn a few days after and I was very pleased with the staff and service, only one day it was excessive noise but its ok. They have a mission to get the rest done and I was sick before I got there!

Yes. I love the place, too. The only downside to the Dunn is the 2:00AM drunk monger very loudly proclaiming, "Nobody charges me $300.00!!!!!".

I too was a victim of excessive noise there one day, but after I complained (probably a little too loudly as I was a bit under the weather with cocktail flu) I was rapidly upgraded to a sunny superior room, with a large flat screen TV, nice table and quiet air conditioner. The noise was no longer an issue and I found the staff to be quite business-like, while still being very friendly.

just came back from second trip to San Jose in past month. I stayed at Dunn Inn again for few days an then went to beach for couple of days. I had to stay at Castillo for a couple of days on my return but it does in no way compare with the nice rooms at the Dunn Inn. I moved back to the Dunn Inn when they had available room. Casino about to open an I predict the Girls will start hanging out at the Dunn. It will really be convenient an a bit more personal than the DR or SL.

I have just returned from a trip to Costa Rica and must extend a big thanks to Boyd, Guy ,Jack and all the other staff at the Dunn inn for helping to make it an amazing experience for my friends and I. Since it was our 1st trip to San Jose I cant offer comparisions but we shall certainly be returning to the Dunn Inn in the not so distant future! A special thanks to Guy who's info was invaluable and appreciate that he was always willing to help with our questions/queries etc Its a great venue which can only get better.

Dunn Inn just committed business suicide. Terminated Boyd /Bktuna. My money goes elsewhere .

Newbies contact fellow member Bk/Tuna for a truly enjoyable vacation. He currently books rooms for you at the Clarion Hotel and is the best Host in all of San Jose. I can assure you he will provide valuable information in dealing with the entertainment. He will make sure you have the time of " your wildest dreams" lol. "he really is a nice person"! If you have never been to San Jose, I can talk all day telling you how beautiful the women . They do not even realize it. I go out in bars in U.S. an can not believe we put up or even have to look at the fat ass women. You will be ruined after your first trip. I sit here on my computer wishing my life away. Wishing I was in Costa Rica.
