You should find CR a good place because there are many independent girls who you can sit and talk to and get a feel for whether they will turn you on or not.
Also there are many strip clubs with rooms attached so you can sit and get turned on and then move to the room to complete the deed. The main thing is that there are 2 kinds of strip club many are big rip offs and some are good to tourists. You will need to get a list of the good ones before you go.
You may find it worth while to become a VIP member to get discounts and extra information.
You need to know Spanish quite well if you wish to talk to the girls and flirt etc. to excite yourself.
You could even tell the MP girls to undress slowly for your pleasure.
Good luck !!!

Yes, planning to get the VIP card when I get to SJ, which I'm assuming gets me the VIP membership. I already have CRBlush membership, which I must say I'm not commpletely satisfied with.

And yes, strip clubs are on my list - its seems to be an experience somewhat unique to CR/SJ, as I haven't seen it in any of the other major mongering destinations. I'm thinking Le Grillon, Club Monaco and Alcasar. Can you recommend any clubs where you can have sex in the lap dance area; i.e., without having to get a room? I'm looking for more upscale places. Not because I have money to throw away, but I'm going for the first time and only for a few days, so I'm prepared to live with what appears to be the difference between budget and upscale.

Here's the advice I give to many newbies: Hire Brother Pops as a tourguide/wingman/security/storyteller. His cost is not an expense, it's an investment. Here's his Website: www.popsguideservice.net
BTW, you can get CRT membership near-instantly through Brother BKTuna (Boyd) at the Dunn Inn.

Very good advice to take Pops tour. Unlike the tours quoted on CRBlush his tour will be customized to your needs and at a fraction of the prices quoted else where. It is well worth considering.
