There seem to be a lot of new guys making first time trips and I am posting this so you guy's dont make the same mistake I did. On my browser, when I would go to submit, I lost everything that was typed because I had been logged out. Important.....just right click, copy your text, and if you go back to login when you click the submit tab, you have it saved and can paste the text back in, then toggle the submit tab again......ok,..that's my good deed for the day,..time for a scotch

What I found was even easier. Write your report and click on 'submit'. If you are asked to log in do so and when you are sent back to the blank 'post a trip report' page just use the back button on your browser till you get to your trip report again. Now click on 'submit' again and your report will be posted.

The system times us out in 15 minutes, so if you are writing a long post, you can get logged out.

It's recommended that you use Microsoft Word or Notepad to write the report, then copy and paste it into CRT.

I'm pretty sure this suggestion is listed on the newbie page called "ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS Guide for Newbie’s Read before Posting!"

Yes, you can click "Preview" every 10 minutes and continue writing.
