My first trip down, Nov 08, I read all the stickys. A lot of info, but necessary. Afterwards, it made more sense. It is important that you understand a few themes of this forum.
1) You are entering a fantasyland. Girls coming up to you and all you do is part with some money which guys typically do.
2) There will always be the debate, whore vs person. Take a look, 2 arms/legs, cranium, sexy body. I'd say, person, woman. But, this person is doing a job. Just remember, your insecurities will come to the table.
3) Read the Novia/Engagement section.

Understand that this section exposes the fantasy versus reality part of P4P. I am not sure if you have to join and this is not a plug to join. My opinion, I have read more practical information about life, that it actually outweighs the discounts.
4) Never care nor worry about about a mistake. We have all made them. Rather, take interest in learning more about yourself. I would say we are all them same soldiers, just different wars to fight in life.
5) Self respect and worth will carry you through life, no matter where you are.
6) Read through the previous trips reports. Do not get caught up in them, because your situation will, most likely, be different.
7) I can not post all the pertinent threads to help your adventure. But, then again, why know every litlle detail? That is part of the fun. I choose the word fun because that is what you are supposed to have.

In regards to guys you meet that are part of this forum, they all have different perspectives in life, BUT, they are actually true in their intent. Not everybody is the same, but a healthy mind takes in information, processess it, and then extracts the important parts. Important for you. Never be closed-minded because it is exactly as stated, closed.
9) Oh, another theme, speaking the language. I would say, it can only help. You will still have sex.
10) In closing, just relax (and I am not saying go to Relax). You will not know exactly, from others words, what makes your trip. You are on vacation and everybody is different. Just keep to your core values (corporate word, sorry), and you should have a good time.
For the veterans, I would have enjoyed reading something like this prior to my trip. I just figured I would give something back. I think I have generalized enough. To make it a debate would only dilute the purpose. Upgrades are always welcome, but I would ask to keep in general.
