They tape it up so well I doubt that customs would open that up the big COSTA RICA box on entry... I'll push the limit one of these trips

Every time I have come through customs at SJO they never have required that I put the duty free box on the conveyor for the xray machine. However, if you have 2 or 3 large duty free boxes it is pretty obvious you have more than 8 liters.
