Depends on the drug store. I've bought a number of things without a prescription, but i've had some stores require a prescription for things like antibiotics.

All you can do is ask and see if they'll give it to you.

I don't know about cortazone, but I did go to a dermatologist at Hospital Cima and had cortazone injections for psoriasis for a total of $35

Also, be aware that some drugs go by a different name than in the US. For instance, most places you ask for Vicadin they will look at you funny. Also drugs like Meridia go by a different name here as well.

I have old war injury and it is injected into joints for arthritis, so I can move without pain.

If you can, attempt to get the generic or formula name of the drug, not simply the brand name. For example, ask for acetaminophen rather than Tylenol.
