JG great post and I've experienced the same, some friends will never venture beyond their own "comfort zones" and dare to travel or take any type of risks (with play or business) and trap themselves in their mediocre lives by their own fears. That's fine for them but they will also discourage any attempts for you to take risks since deep down they really do not want to see you succeed or accomplish something they're afraid to try. If you're a thrill-seeker then don't let your nay-sayer friends hold you back, leave them behind! Life's too short to let those types drag you down, I learned to hang out with people that encourage and motivate me instead. After many trips to CR I'm looking at MDE and hearing the same- "are you nuts Colombia's dangerous!"
