As mentioned in a bunch of other threads, San Jose's going dry as of midnight on Friday the 3rd. What I'm wondering - and I hope there's someone on the ground there who can answer this definitively - do the clubs then shut down at midnight that night, or are they even open at all? Will it otherwise be a normal Friday night, or do all the locals pretty much hunker down for the election period?

Thanks for the info.

GR

Maybe the clubs will open earlier that night since liquor shuts down at midnight. If so, we should be ready to go.

Liquor cannot be sold from Friday midnight to Monday midnight...If you are in town, you had better stock up.

Trying to reach GR.........Think we should start early at the SL and Le Grillion that opens at 9 and then hit Pantera Rosa and then another before 12 or make Pantera Rosa last. The girls can probably be taken to a private party. My 2 pgh amigos were going to bring a few back to the Castillo. We are going to line up a few strippers for the Cheerleader party on Saturday.

Still haven't heard a definitive on this yet. What do you think guys, is there any hope for Friday night, or is it going to suck? My guess is that the club scene will not be happening at all. Remember that most clubs don't even get revved up until 10:30 - 11:00, and with an alcohol cut-off at midnight, it really doesn't look too promising.

BTW - Eddie has offered to have a Sexy Bitch kick-off event at ZB with free pizza and $1.00 off on drinks. I've also been in touch with the new owners of Kamur regarding a private party event - will give status later today.

GR

Hey - whose idea was this anyway, Maverick???

If the clubs open earlier that night, I think it can work. (I don't know that they will, but if I was a club owner, that's what I'd do.) If Kamur would host a little private thing for us, that could work as well. Or we could just hang out at ZB all night. 8)

I'll probably get killed for this but, can't we have just as much fun without alcohol? (Okay, okay, I'm leaving.)
