CRT cards we can hand out to non-members who are visting CR for the first time. this will help pass the word along to the new guys who have no clue that everything in CR is negotiable.

i always ask anyone new i meet if they are from CRT and most often than not they have no clue about CRT. No one ever ever has a pen handy when you need one, this includes the chicas, and who is going to remember costaricaticas. com when they've been drinking. "cotaritawhat.com?" CRT should print out business cards containing discount info, crt websited and on the bag "Just say NO to $100."

this will help us all out in the long run. We could also use bumper stickers to past in the mens room in KL and the DR; they don't have to have anything that indentifes CRT, it should just read "Just say NO to $100!"

Without going into all the economic complexities involved (which are actually quite interesting and discussed in detail in the above links) it seems the best we can do is just negotiate and educate other guys to do the same.

Perhaps Admin should put the response, and associated links, from PacoLoco above, as a Sticky in the Newbie and General section, that way this issue may not come up as often as it does.
