I just notices I was at post 99. I joined this board August 6th 2005. I am averaging .74 posts per day. I have also been to SJO twice since I joined. Before that I have been to many other destination. I have enjoyed them all.

But there is something about Costa Rica:

It is just close enough to home to allow for weekend trips.
The women are beautiful and sweet.
The SL makes my trips special with comfort I have not found elsewhere.
There is the casino atmosphere that occasionally I enjoy.
The weather is PERFECT in SJO

I know some will say I have it bad. But, I have been doing this for years. I guess I need to define what "it" is?

I think it is a place where I can go to relax, unwind, and yet enjoy a part of me that I keep to myself back home.

I think I have also found a place where I might want to retire in a few years when my youngest son goes off to college. We will see. As I stated in my last trip report I will back for trip 3 the end of January.

I still will be trying Columbia sometime this year.

But I think "it" will continue to draw me back to CR.

Now why is the 100th post significant? Because "it" has drawn me to participate more on this board than any other I have belonged too. Because "it" has pushed me into taking 3 trips in about 4 months.

I have enjoyed meeting many of you in Costa Rica. I have met more "mongers" that fit my style (what ever that us) than any other place I have been.

Anyway it has been a fun time since I tried the CR and I hope everyone else finds there "it". I also hope I do not become bored with "it" anytime soon.

Paco, thanks for the thread. I just reread my post on that thread, which is a year and half old, and if I had to write it again today, I would probably word it entirely the same.
