Tequila,

I'll try to do my best to give you short accurate answers... by the way, welcome to the board.

1) Besides the Xmas-New Years time frame and Easter, I can honestly say that any time is a good time to go for mongering. If it's weather you are concerned about, well yeah, it rains all the time around this time of year, but it ultimately depends on what you are coming here for... if it's for adult play-time, then you'll be indoors most the time anyways and therefore weather doesn't matter.

Being that you are arriving on the 27th of Dec, you MIGHT get a slow first few days, but it should be picking up soon after New Years... I would recommend you push your whole vacatio back a whole week atleast to just avoid the X-mas/New Year's timeframe.

2) PM admin1 or Admin2... I'm sure they will gladly help ya!

3) Sportsmans has a new section open with A/C... the number there is (506)221-2533. Just call and specifically ask for one of the rooms with A/C.

4) Create a roll call once you know your dates and always make it to the 5pm happy hour.

Take care,

Ruffnutz

Hey tequila69,

I don't have the answer your question, but can you shed some light on why I get so many emails from girls who say they live in Nigeria but are from the UK (as you are) and say they are from my town, or coming to my town, want money etc.... WTF is up with that?

i see it so much I thought thats what your post was going to say after your intro... anyone else see this?

Their just Nigerian scams, because the government there is so umm well, they have other priorities so things like that just happen and nothing is done to stop it.

Tequila69,

I don't know where you will be departing from - London or Nigeria, but I think it would be quite a haul for you and expensive. Also if your holiday (the yanks would say vacation) cannot be changed then maybe Costa Rica is not the right place for you at this time of year. Christmas is slow and I don't think it will pick up before Jan 2 or even later.

Maybe now is the time to think East instead of West, check out Bangkok or Pattaya for those Asian birds. Other possible destinations would be Batam, Jakarta, and maybe Manila or Angeles City.

PM me if you would like to discuss it some more.

Things will be slow for you until after the new year. Your flight might also be expensive flying so close to Christmas. I am sure there will be girls around though.

I heard that some of the Presidente Junior Suites come with a jucuzzi. The one I just paid for recently didn't have one. You will probably need to request one since it isn't mentioned in the reservation. I think all the Junior Suites have A/C at the Presedente.

Check out the "Roll Calls!" section for people visiting at the time.

Post subject:  Thanx for the replies

Thanx guys for the replies-

My company pays for my plane ticket once a year to anywhere i want. Last Month i went to Rio for 'work' although i did enjoy the women the atmosphere was not as friendly as it sounds here.

As to going to the east before i was posted in nigeria i was in hong kong which meant constant trips to bkk and manila so i really dont wanna do that again plus that flight is nearly as long.

Nigerian scams- u think the scams you read abou are bad you should see what goes on here, there is a big expat community in nigeria cause of the oil and if you here and there are alot of war stories here.

I had already booked my holiday time and because of work i cant change it-but i am sure costa rica at the worst of time sure beats nigeria or london at the best and i will be there for two weeks so if it means going 27-2 with a lack of choice then so be it-coming from here i can live with 5 days of not being fussy 8)

Ruff Nuts thanx for the help on the sportsman from the posts i have read i think i will wanna stay there
guys i promis you alot of trip reports and pictures when i leave san jose

Their will still be people around, its just the fact that alot of "working" people go home around that time of year (usually around the week of Christmas until the New Years ).

In short, the number of ladies will be lower, but then again how many "tourists" will be there that time of year?

December is cool in Costa Rica. No need for A/C in San Jose.

Good luck Tequila69, I hope you have a great time.

Any place other that Nigeria will be a welcome relief. I work in the oil business, and fortunately have never had to travel into Lagos. Have many friends that have worked there and I understand that it can be miserable.

If you are in need of transportation, for example....traveling to Jaco, I know a great guy (Mauricio) who can help you out.

Again, hope you have a great holiday.
