I realize that the Ticos/Ticas really didn't care who they were playing as long as they won, but did they realize they were playing against the US's 'B' team?

It's a great day here in CR anytime little ole CR (the size of West Virginia) can beat the big,bad U.S. in anything. I have heard the arguement about the U.S. sending their lesser players. Well I don't buy it.CR is so small next to the US that we don't have any extra bodies to send. (anyways they were all too busy drinking imperials and watching the game) Next,I haven't heard the excuse that it was raining really heavy during the whole game. CR is certainly more used to the rain. (when the Phuck is it going to stop?) This gamne wa a National happening here. In the US I doubt if more than 10% of the population even knew it was going on. So let the Ticos and we ex-patriots enjoy our day in the sun. (or else we won't let you Gringos enjoy our sweet,sweet flowers that you come here to enjoy lol) WIN OR LOSE,I LOVE COSTA RICA

I watched the game yesterday in a tico bar, what great rabid fans! I highly recommend it.

it does not surprise me ,CR is pura vida , here in the US most are impatient and in a hurry to die. CR wants us to visit , the US likes to give us reasons not to return a game is a game . HAVE A GREAT KITTEN

One of my favorite nights in San Jose was sitting in a small bar in El Pueblo, drinking with the locals and watching a soccer game. They do love their soccer and I got enthusiastic just watching them.
