Mi novia just called me she needs some money what is the cheapest way to send money to costa rica? Western Union? and how do I do it? just to go to any Western Union Office ? how much they charge per Cien?

I think it depends how much you send, where you send it and from where you send it.

I read here on the board that it was cheaper to wire it directly from your account to hers.

I know I'm pretty much a newbie here. That doesn't mean I was born yesterday. But sometimes it seems as though Chupa was.

The cheapest transfer would be emailing to her "Paypal account." If she says yes.......run, do not walk. I think Western Union is a rip off.

To Whom It May Concern:

It would be a very interesting experiment if all of you guys would agree to send money only by Western Union and then cross-referenced name's and see how many of you are sending money to the same girl. Nothing disrespectful intended just an attempt to justify my very negative attitude about this.

It is your money so send it if you want too. Moneygram is way cheaper than western union, I think 6$ for a hundred.

thanks guys brethren, I found a local place that charges $10 for $200 , mi novia had to pay her telefono bill, so I had to help her that's all. No I don't think she is professional she does not have a pay pal account , I don't even think she knows what it is.
