Maybe this is Newman's new Marketing Strategy. He is going to advertise $450k and just before it closes charge the unsuspecting buyers "Double" for the improved quality of course.

Newman explains the listed price of the club:

When the new management started making decisions about selling 16 months ago, it was decided that a buyer's share of the Kamur price for a Single, or normal, Kamur would be $950,000 dollars. When the Kamur sale closes they will be given a wooden or plastic token called a chip. At the end of the transaction they would give the chip to the attorney and would be paid for the Kamur. Like most club sales, we established a more expensive Kamur option so that those buyers who wanted to be onsidered extra special could buy this more expensive Kamur. It was decided that a buyer's share of this Kamur price would be $475,000 (what they would pay for a normal Kamur), and they would be given a chip with the letter "D" on it, meaning double. The term has been used ever since. Neither the manager nor the owner had been in the nightclub business before, so we had to feel our way along. One of the first lessons we learned was that buyers getting intoxicated was a major bonus. It was not unusual for several of them to be very drunk before the night was over. We could have maximized our profits by serving them two shots of very inexpensive liquor instead of one shot of an expensive premium liquor. We opted to serve a much higher quality liquor, but only serve one shot. The buyers would not get so plastered, they would be much happier because they could enjoy a Baileys or a Jose Cuervo.
There was, however, a downside. The Nightclub’s costs would be increased, thus we would make less money on double Kamurs. Instead of paying $475,000 for a regular size cheap Kamur, we would be paying about $950,000 for a normal size expensive Kamur. This is how the Kamur policy was established and evolved. We have always called it a Double Kamur and never thought much about it. To my knowledge, no customer has commented on this in the past. In view of the above, we think it is obvious that we have not been trying to cheat anybody. Just one more point. It is true the buyers do not get the quantity when they order a single Kamur. They do, however, get a Kamur that is quintuple the value of the much lower priced alternative.

Ah..I think I finally have got it. There are really TWO KAMURS. Each one really costs $475,000. However you can purchase either or both. A "Double would run you $950,000,but with it comes nothing but premium quality everything. Does a dancer have to be both, beautiful,AND give great service to be considered premium or a double? If you buy both Kamurs, are you assured of getting doubles... or does that mean that the chica has a twin? If the dancer does have a twin, and she dances there too,can a customer have to buy each of them a premium (or double) or is it considered discriminatory to buy one a Primi and the other a normal. Oops a primi is something else. Oh screw it..I'm confused again. As Gilda Radner used to say "Never mind"
