Besides Blue Marlin bar, is there another place to watch football and baseball games? |

I don't think the BM is a good place to watch sports on TV. Only a couple of small screens and lots of noise and distractions. Personally, I like to go upstairs at the Horseshoe Casino diagonally across the street. Big screen, multiple TV's, very comfortable cushioned seating, quiet and relaxed. But, I'm probably not the best one to answer this question, since I normally focus on other activities while in CR |

My fav sportsbar now is Sportsmens Lodge. Screens everywhere with 4 satellites feeding multiple games of choice and you can make your bets online there before during and after. Also pretty girls trying to distract me from the game...and a very hospitable environment. A new place is the Sportsbar on 2nd floor of the Presedente Hotel. Very nice modern layout with dartboard and varied bar menu for food and drinks. Nice addition to the downtown scene. I hear some changes may be forthcoming at the Horseshoe with some new management hopefully bringing down the food and drink prices which were in my opinion exhorbitant for CR, let a lone a casino. Plus service has been spotty there. The big screen just isnt very clear to me and hurts my eyes after a while. Hope the changes are made. |

I've only been there once, but the new sportsbar at the Presidente ( forgot the name of the bar... Sports Box or something with 'Box' I think... ), right next to the casino on the second floor, had a HUGE projection on the entrance wall which is great for watching games. I wound up watching a Yanks game there during my last trip and had a great time there (Eva on my lap helped make it memorable). Definitely check it out, it's worth your time. Ruffnutz |

We only watched an inning and a half, in the defense of not making her look better than she really was... then she told me she was horny and kept sticking her tongue in my ear.... I tried my best to ignore her (honest, I did!!) but after a minute or two of that, suddenly the Yankees didn't seem so important... Oh well, Ruffnutz |

Guys; Just for the pure sake of accuracy, don't forget the second floor of the Colonial and Marazan. LVSteve |
