Thanks to human nature, from what I've seen, an ongoing theme in many original posts here is: "I know she's a bar girl, but she is different and I'm hoping you guys will see it my way and see how she is different and stop being so cynical and realize this girl is special, despite evidence exhibits X, Y and Z to the contrary. I myself. under other circumstances am ordinarily very rational. Please try to see it my way."

"Oh, you don't see it my way, let me try to convince you again that this is real," ad nauseum.

Reality check:

Okay, how many people know about eventual and successful / healthy monogamous relationships between former CR bar girls and gringos that actually lasted, where the gringo was not eventually exploited for his initial feelings and then later, for money?

Long term. Talking marraige of former bar girls with gringos originally introduced at the bar. Did you two just "click?" Let's hear your happily-ever-after success stories!

RingoG how many rational men are going to tell this board if they did have a relationship that turned out OK? Look at the postings Steve LV and Subatomic got for helping a working girl. No I'm afraid if a board member did have a successful relationship he we would never hear about it or if he told anyone it would be in strictest confidince.

Fantasy land is right! Too much thinking about the chicas and you can't get a damn thing done at the office.

Probably because P4P makes your little head happy. Wanting to be happy in the big brain causes us to fantasize about finding the perfect woman to rock our world and make us happy forever.

A woman can't do that. Lord knows if any woman came close it would be with a non-working girl not a bar girl.

Just be happy you get to pay them to leave.

I have two perfect ones right now. They are both neutered females, give me unconditional love and trust, only ask for a little food and shelter in return, snuggle up to me every night when I'm home, usually don't bitch about anything, and even surrender the bed if a female two legger happens to spend the night. They don't even get too upset when I take off to CR to get the one thing they don't provide. For everything else there's Mastercard.

Well, thanks for answering my original question, you guys, as I'm actually here in CR today for the first time Aug. 26 and am experiencing the real thing, rather than voyeuristic experience from reading all of your guys' great posts and info.

For the last THREE MONTHS since I first booked air fare, all I could do was wonder.

Appologies for posting on these boards occasionally while under the affluence of incahol, where my typing speed is still way out in front of my brain!

But tonight I think I'm centered and I'll try not to fall in love.
