I was just watching a program on ABC, "Hooking Up". This guy is telling this girl that he will see her again in two weeks and she gets bummed by that. So he says he has to go to Costa Rica for a business trip. She does the "yeah right" and I'm doing the "yeah right" and I'm thinking, probably one of the "dogs" on line here. Anyway, he thens says, "I shagged someone last night and I'll be shagging somebody else tomorrow" and then I'm thinking, yeah, one of the local "dogs".

The term "seeing" pisses me off even more... I'll ask a girl if she has a boyfriend, and they say "oh well i'm seeing this guy"... hell that's even more confusing than "dating" which can mean anything from going out on a few harmless dinners to the sub-stratospheres of ultimate monagamy. A more direct and less tactful route is sometimes required: " Well then _____ what I'm really curious about is not the nature of your association with another man, rather an honest no bullsh*t assesment of the likelihood of us having raw carnal intercourse in the very near future "
