Post subject: | Questions |
I went to CR for the first time Memorial Day Weekend and had a blast. I'm thinking about returning in August and have a few questions. 1) What are the best hotels to stay at? I stayed at Hotel Gran Costa Rica and they said, "they didn't allow girls". 2) Where are the hottest girls? I banged a few pretty Columbian girls from the Del Ray hotel, but I'm looking for 10's guys. 3) What's the key to stamina? I banged like 5 girls well in 4 days and I'm a 26 year old personal trainer. I've read on this board about guys twice my age banging more than 5 girls every day for weeks. Do you guys not have a refractory period? What's the secret? 4) What else is there to do in San Jose other then sex? 5) How much should you tip at "Zona Blue" and other message parlors? I gave the girl $20 - didn't know how much was appropriate. 5) Do girls in CR allow photos and videos? 6) I'm thinking about returning in August, but I hear that it's the rainy season, should I go? 7) Is the VIP membership worth getting? What are the advantages? ![]() |

Bald, Welcome to CRT... You can get much more info in regards to your questions by simply doing a search. But I will give you some info anyway: 1. The favorites seem to be Hotel Presidente, Sportsmen's Lodge, and Hotel Del Rey. 2. It's all relative. Nobody can answer that for you because everybody has different tastes and preferences. A 10 to you might be a 7 to me. (YMMV) 3. Can't help you there, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm a 2-3 per day kind of guy. 4. Nothing for me. ![]() ![]() 5. I think all would agree that $20 (50% tip) is too high; read this thread to the end: https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=7301 5. Yes, but you have to ask. 6. Did you say you went in may? I may be wrong, but that's the rainy season also. So did you find the rain to be a real problem? ![]() 7. Yes, you get discounts at various establishments (hotels, restauarants, and massage parlors)... it pays for itself in a few days. 8. A lot of CRT guys get together for happy hour at Blue Marlin Bar and also you can usually find one or two or ten CRT's in Zona Blue massage parlor. That's to get you started, but do some research to get much, much more info. -Orange |

A s Orange said you can find a lot by looking around but a couple of quick notes. You asked what else there was to do .There are a few Museums and the National Theater is nice to see.Mercado Central makes for an interesting cultural experience but there are a vast amount of things to see outside the city with may tours offered. Many of the hotels have tour desks to help you with tours. As far as the really quality girls you will find very nice talent at some of the strip clubs but need to be careful as many are clip joints.A couple of my personal favorites are Pantera Rosa and Le Grellion and lots of board members like Kamur. The VIP will be well worth the cost in one trip if you use it for numerous discounts.I prefer rainy seson for hobbying as it is less busy thpugh I go to local places mostly where it is the same all year.rbc100 |

1) What are the best hotels to stay at? I stayed at Hotel Gran Costa Rica and they said, "they didn't allow girls". You could have saved yourself the trouble of not being able to bring girls to your room by doing even five minutes of research. Don't stay at the Sportsmen's, Presidente or the like. You need a really class place like the Hotel Johnson...the name says it all, my man. 2) Where are the hottest girls? I banged a few pretty Columbian girls from the Del Ray hotel, but I'm looking for 10's guys. Good luck here, Bald Buddy. Costa Rican pros don't like buff, handsome, fit young men. They prefer fat, hairy old, gringos with huge pot-bellies. 3) What's the key to stamina? I banged like 5 girls well in 4 days and I'm a 26 year old personal trainer. I've read on this board about guys twice my age banging more than 5 girls every day for weeks. Do you guys not have a refractory period? What's the secret? My most recent refractory period lasted about six years. Wrong guy to ask, but I know someone who can give you tips. Do a search for articles by member DTA; he's into both bodybuilding and nutrition, and he's made a number of good suggestions. Besides, you physical-culture types should hang together, anyway. I mean, hang out together. 4) What else is there to do in San Jose other then sex? Drink. Gamble. See the world's most horrifying urban zoo. Play "Bait the Beggars." Seek drugs or other illegal fun, preferrably in front of the local cops, who have wonderful, quirky senses of humor. 5) How much should you tip at "Zona Blue" and other message parlors? I gave the girl $20 - didn't know how much was appropriate. You're an idiot. ![]() 5) Do girls in CR allow photos and videos? Sometimes. Sometimes they'll do it for extra cash. Some will only do it fully clothed, others will allow nude photos not showing faces, still others may allow photos but not for posting on the Internet. Ask. 6) I'm thinking about returning in August, but I hear that it's the rainy season, should I go? There are two things that melt in the rain. Shit and sugar. I'm sure you're neither. Bring an umbbrella if you're concerned about getting your bald head wet. 7) Is the VIP membership worth getting? What are the advantages? it's worth getting only if you're smart enough to use it. Aside from the discounts, which are excellent and which can save you some real money, you'll get access to the photo and video sections, be invited to CRT events, have access to the more informative V.I.P. Forum, and most importantly, you'll be supporting CRT. Also, honyock jerkoffs like me will be less likely to razz you when replying to your posts. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There's a great club called Bogart's where we all meet. You'll find the guys to be extremely friendly. Also try the downstairs section at the Kamur nightclub. There are also some very interesting guys to meet who hang out after dark in Morazan Park...they like to explore their feminine side, if you catch my drift. ![]() CRT's informal Happy Hour happens around five o'clock in the afternoon at the Blue Marlin. The tables near the windows, close to the entrance closest to the Monkey bar is where you'll find 'em. Prepare to buy a lot of drinks. ![]() ![]() Hey BBB, welcome to CRT! All kidding aside, it's great to have you with us.Five times a day and the man's complaining... dang... ![]() |

There are also some very interesting guys to meet who hang out after dark in Morazan Park...they like to explore their feminine side, if you catch my drift. The guy is a newbie. Why jerk his chain? If you do not want to help him just ignore the post. |

If you read the entire post, you'll notice that after making the joke, I gave the correct information. Lighten up. ![]() In fact, I love helping newbies. I just spent nearly an hour answering newbie PM's. I suppose you also take issue with my recommendation of the Hotel Johnson? ![]() Furthermore, you'll note that I provided straight answers to most of the questions. El Ciego, sorry to get you so worked up. My point is and was that he is a newbie and therefore has no way of knowing that your references to Bogart's & downstairs at Kamur were meant to be "tongue in cheek". The subtleties of smiley faces may not be recognized by those not use to the board. Your statement that you also mixed in correct information with your humorous ones is only going to lead to further confusion. How does a newbie differentiate? |

BBB; I don't know if anyone else answered it, but the "rainy season" in August lasts till late October. Also, the "rainy season" means that every day starts out beautiful with clouds rolling in around 2 in the afternoon. Rain starts around 3 and lasts for 3 or 4 hours clearing up after dark. In other words, it ain't as bad as it sounds. LVSteve PS: Since you're a personal trainer, try the canopy tours and the white water rafting - level 5 for you, level 3 for me - I'm an old man. |

Post subject: | To the buff black bald newbie, without subtle smileys. |
Okay BB B, straight answers, since Ding Dong thinks you're either too dumb or too naive to fish out the facts from the not-so-subtle humor in my earlier post.... 1. There are a lot of decent hotels in downtown San Jose, some accept "guests," some not. As stated above, the Sportsmen's Lodge is a new, heavily-endorsed favorite. It's a bit away from the Gringo Gulch (the area immediately surrounding the Hotel Del Rey and Blue Marlin Bar), but is very convenient to some excellent restaurants and two good massage parlors, called MPs on this forum. I wouldn't stay at the Hotel Del Rey if you paid my room bill. It's noisy, I've been told the beds are about five years past junk, and the hotel charges a $10.00 fee each time you bring a girl to your room. ![]() The Presidente is about a block away from the HDR/BM and is quite good by Costa Rican standards. They've recently put a bunch of love and money into improving the rooms and they are reported to be fantastic. Rates are fair; I believe that a lower rate can be had by mentioning CRT, perhaps others can comment or correct this? The hotel gran via is inexpensive, three blocks from the Presidente, has balcony rooms and is chica-friendly. Okay you're looking for 10's. I've often wondered why anyone who is 26, physically fit, presumably buffed to a peak of muscular manliness etc. would even want to pay for it (in cash), and I don't know what your favorite flavor is. How could anyone tell you where to find 10's? the question is lousy to begin with. Hell, my definition of 10 includes all four limbs, a full set of teeth, clean, two breasts a hole and a heartbeat. Most agree that the BM has the "hottest" girls and the largest number of "10's," but as RBC100 so often points out, you can find diamonds everywhere...but you gotta look. What's there to do aside from mongering? Man, how do you fill your own time in the States? You can work out at three or four different health clubs within the downtown area, you can do eco-tourism, jungle tours, whitewater rafting, bathe in volcanic hot springs at Tabacan, zip-line over the jungle canopy, surf, look for tarantulas on the East Coast, hang out with the Rastas near cahueta or enjoy tranquil Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side, watch Spanish novellas on TV...lots to do. Yeah, it rains a couple hours everyday. No big deal unless you get caught in it for more than five minutes, in which case you'll be soaked to the skin. It clears off nicely after dark (6:00 p.m. or so) The mornings are gorgeous. BBB, I apologize for the use of humor in my previous post. Don't go to Bogart's (gay show bar), downstairs at Kamur (gay show bar) or Morazan Park after dark (potentially dangerous transvestites). Do come to Happy Hour at the Blue Marlin, around 5:00 P.M. MOST AFTERNOONS. Do pay the $39.00 and join the V.I.P.; it's a good deal. I still think it's fun to play "Bait the Beggars," but that's just me. And I still think Ding got something caught in his craw, but as I don't know him personally, I am probably wrong. Subtle ![]() Subtle ![]() P.S. Sorry for being a honyock. ![]() |

Really no need for that El Ciego. You have no idea what I think of BaldBlknBuff so why go down that road. Sorry such a veteran like yourself (let me think..you have been here once, correct?) gets so upset when someone questions something you say. I will try to just ignore your future posts and solve the problem. |

El Ciego; You mentioned that you don't know Ding Dong personally. That, friend is the problem. Ding Dong has been a member of this board since its inception and has lived in Costa Rica for over 3 years. Prior to that, he traveled here numerous times and very few of us know one eighth of what he does about the country. He has contributed countless times to this board and is cnly concerned that the newbies get the right information. Ding Dong deserves the respect of everyone on this board - without people like him, there would be no board. LVSteve[/quote] |

1. There is/was no disrespect intended toward Ding Dong. It was he, not I who implied that BBB couldn't tell the difference between my quirky humor and facts. He totally ignored the "good" content of my first post to this thread and jumped on me about the joke regarding Bogart's etc. In fact, I corrected the post and clearly pointed out the "humor" from the facts, because I respect Ding Dong's experience and opinion. 2. "I'll just ignore all your future posts." Nice. Friendly. Gentlemanly. I wouldn't ever ignore any of your posts, sir. We've much to learn from each other. Believe it or not. 3. We've seen this before, and recently. Someone gives the veterans a little ribbing or questions an opinion given by a veteran, and suddenly it turns into a flame war or something like it. I know in fact that Ding Dong has helped me immeasurably with his knowledge, and I discount it not at all. Look, Mr. Ding Dong...instead of worrying about my bad influence, why don't you re-read my posts here and correct me on any inaccuracies/misinformation? I'm sure there's something really wrong with what I've written, beyond the poor judgement in using humor. This would be far more helpful than the "I-know-more-than-you-you're-just-a-rookie-putz" sort of thing that's emerged in the last four posts to this topic. For instance, does the Prez offer a discount to CRT members?? Can you suggest other venues where one can fined "10's?" Any tips for improving sexual stamina? Again, I strongly suggest that both you and LV Steve re-read the posts before jerking your knees in reaction. You'll see that I am only trying, with humor and perhaps with little grace, to help out a new guy. Please don't turn CRT into a "good old boys" network, where only veterans" have something worthwhile to say. Thanks both of you for excellent information. I offer much more respect than you seem to believe. Sincerely, Paul a.k.a. El Ciego" |
