I spent the mont of June attending Forester Instuto International, it's in San Pedro a mere 10 min bus ride to the Gultch.
This is an excellent school.
I entered the 5 day a week program, school was from 1:15 to 5:00 PM,
as part of the imersion program the school placed me with a Tica family,
I had a private room, private bath and two meals a day were provided by the family, they also did my laundry. Spanish was the only language spoken in both the home and the school.
Grammar is essential and the primary focus of the course.
I learned enough to make basic conversation, which really seemed to impress the Chicas on my weekend excursions.
I also have the Rosetta Stone Spanish Course, the one on the back cover of the Sky Mall Magazines in all the airliners, with it and my experience at the school I plan to master the language is short order
