Anyone have any unique ideas for a gift to someone who has repeatably been the ultimate GFE? This one is special.

Lets see..From my limited knowlege of this particular GFE. :wink: , I would say some additional time with dapper, charming and loving man from Florida...Oh, she gets that already from time to time. I guess an instructional video on Bessitos Negros might be a bit selfish..humm..Ok, how about a weekend at the beach, in a nice suite? How about a round trip ticket to her hometown (about 100 bucks). Or, mabye someone who knows a relative of her could ask what she wants......

good to see you here pal...I hate traveling when it is not for fun...grrr....

Maybe the Bessitos Negros from you would be special!....................wait you probaly already give her that...yes special GFE. :)

Victoria Secret is having a sale right now, also if you want to spoil her, you can take her to the Casa Blanca,(the costa rican whitehouse) I think it used to be Tera Tera or Tara, Tara. That's what the cabbies will know it as.

Psychman: just the urge to that neigborhood brought on the accusation of being Playo-with lots of laughs. But, we are in the neighborhood. Next trip will only be a few days. if you would ask Y. for a suggestion(on QT) that would be nice.
Grey Ghost: This girl just doesn't eat- rice and ? is all. restaurants are wasted on her. KL buffet is all she ever wants.

#1 Does she have K*ds? Buy their school uniforms for the next year, maybe. Not romantic, I know, but practical.

#2 Go back, and JUST ASK HER! What do you want for your birthday? She may really like just shopping with you for that present ( and it may benefit you that same nite)I haved agonized about taking the right present for a novia, and I have now decided that we will do it together. Besides, they know the best bargains around, si?

I am an incurable romantic,and not afraid to say so. We will ALL fall for someone while testing our emotional limits in this game,some just recognize it sooner than later.

Yes, Scuba she will appreciate something from the states, but she sounds really picky. Step back and open your eyes or ask a friends' advice who knows her. She may not be all that. We can be love blind sometimes.

It is hard to suggest something special for someone we do not know. There have been a few good suggestions here and you shot them down.

Ok, I'll try one more time,

If you know her sizes, a new outfit. Find a store that sells latina type clothes and ask the sales clerk for help. this has worked for me in the past. Keep the receipt and if it doesn't fit or she doesn't like it, return it for something else.( I found a great store in the Sawgrass Mills Mall, I bought a few outfits for a favorita once and she loved them, no I will not go shopping with you :P )

Women love perfume.......again ask the sales clerk for help or buy her something we're going to like..... :lol: uh I mean you're going to like.

Women love makeup....does she wear much? Buy her a set of some kind?

Bath & Body Works....women love to pamper themselves....buy her an assortment of girlie bath stuff.(lotions, oils, bubble bath, candles etc) you may reap some enjoyment from this gift.

Take her to a SPA.....professional massage, facial, body wrap etc. If your are interested in this, let me know.

And then there is jewerly, women always love jewerly. But you take the chance she will hock it and tell you it was stolen. Sorry....just a bit of reality.

Scuba good luck with your shopping. If she is real, she will appreciate the fact that you took the time and thought to make a real effort to please her. Good ole TLC and make her feel like a lady will always be a good B'day gift. Spoil her.

I would go a different route, just get her something small and inexpensive. Just like she doesn't like the fancy restuarants she probably won't get a "fancy" gift. I mean of course she'll get it, but it probably won't have the effect you want it to. It will not be a good thing for your relationship with her.

This idea has been covered in previous threads, so I won't re-hash it, but if you treat Ticas ( or Nicas or Colombianas or Domincanas or etc) like Gringas they will become like Gringas. Spoiled, rude, materialistic always entitled and never satisfied. Just do something simple and nice and spend time with her.

Scubabum....I'm sure that I am the last guy you want advive from about a gift for your new "loved one". Your relationship,this time, has me very concerned.Since I introduced you to her,I think I am entitled to say that. My suggestion for a gift would be a ticket for her alone ,back to Nicaragua. Make sure it is one way. Look what happened to me for buying a round tripper. But, hey, I have only one person to blame for her being in Costa Rica. I have to look no farther than the mirror. Take my advice and don't spend a ton of dough. At this point it's just the thought that will count. Give it time, time is the under rated, often overlooked element to the "relationship." Don't stress yourself over this decision.

If a one-way trip to Nicaragua is out of the question, I would recommend something that is useful as opposed to romantic. I've noticed that Latinas love gadgets, toys, cell phones, etc. What I have given to girls down there in the past is a portable CD player with headphones (Walkman type things). Now that MP3 players are becoming the rage, you can find the CD players for very cheap, $35 to $40 at BestBuy. Lingerie and jewelry are neat but I prefer to give them something that they can use and enjoy. Just a suggestion.
