I have a (hot) tutor here in Dallas. She showed me a book called :

"Conversacion y Repaso"

Best book I have seen. Is kinda intermediate ... but explains VERY well in English .. then several good exercises

Thanks for the tip. I bought one off Ebay (best price) after looking at it on Amazon.

I like the idea of a hot tutor in Dallas, or anywhere, actually.

Did you also mention something about a book?...

I have a Spanish tutor for 2 hours every Friday morning in St. Louis; she is from Chile orginally. I supplement that with 15 CDs from www.learnspanish.com; some of that website is free but there is a premium service to get the CD's and access to the premium site www.caminodelexito.com. And I forgot, she also recommends an intermediate book (200 pages or so) called Breaking Out of Beginner's Spanish by Joseph J. Keenan and published by University of Texas Press (Austin). Wile Coyote

Don't know, but I have to call her tomorrow anyway to cancel my session (will be in Houston this week) and I'll ask her. Wile Coyote
