| Post subject: | What happened to Lucy? |
I read on another thread that Lucy had for some reason been banned from the Blue Marlin. Any truth to it? What an institution she has been. I remember noticing Lucy (real name Luz) over 5 years ago and wondering how she stayed in business. I will admit to this: Some years ago after staying up all night, I was on my last bit of energy trying to stay up to catch a 7am flight back home. Lucy claimed she was an expert massage artist, and I took her up on it. She really was good, in fact probably the best pure massage I've ever had from a DR girl. Couldn't bring myself to do anything else with that face staring at me though! Hope she didn't get in trouble. |

I heard that she had major Plastic Surgery (courtesy of a Gringo) and has retired and is possibly married to this man? Dont know how true it is!? |

Gopher y PC YES< it is true  I saw her last year after the face job, she looked 20 yrs younger  All the BM bartendresses cheered as she made her short appearance at th BM bar.. One of the older barmaids and a friend of Lucy confirmed that she had married an older Gringo and need not 'work' again

Glad it is true...of anyone in that place that deserves a better life, it is her! I for one am happy...all those chivas and her begging for gambling money was getting expensive! |

Thanks to Cynus and Papi for the updates. That is such good news. I had come to feel like she was an old friend over the years. Her english kept getting better, and I often felt like a heel for not employing her. Its nice to hear a sort of success story out of the Blue Marlin. |
