Post subject:  Need Ideas

I have been to Costa Rica three times in the last 18 months. On my first trip, I made the common mistake of listening to the cabbies. I went to the strip clubs and wasted too much money. I quickly learned the error of my ways. I went to New Fantasy the next day. The massage parlor experience was undoubtedly far better than that of the strip club. I also found Del Rey on the same trip. This was unlike anything I could have ever imagined. The combination of gambling, whores and liquor all in one hotel is the greatest business venture ever! On this trip, I also met a local tica I can now call my own. I have spent time with her on each trip to CR.

My second and third trips went a little differently. Finding the CRT website was definitely a life changing discovery. The amount of not only useful, but much needed information I found, was incredible. The direction in which the site led me allowed me to experience CR the way a man should. I went to ZB, Oasis and other places mentioned on the site enjoying the mongering experience.

Now I am about challenging myself. I've done the "menaje trois thing." I have negotiated prices in the Blue Marlin from a hundred to fifty to forty to thirty dollars. My last experience was free. I never had the same tica twice, either!

I am now looking for new ideas. My next trip is June 21st. I need some suggestions fellas. Make 'em good por favor, I love a challenge!

Boogie

P.S.
I will take photos and post threads to documnet my accomplishments.

Boogie.....Two ideas immediately come to mind. One is to stop using that derogatory word that describes the working chicas. The second would be to substitute the word adventures for accomplishments. The guys who post here are for the most part gentlemen who respond better to other gentlemen who share their adventures rather than brag about them.

Geez VB cut the guy some slack. I dont read anything mean or rude with what he said, compared to previous posters who's bitterness and spitefullness leaps off the page. Someone can use the term "whore" casually on this forum without it being an insult. He used the term whore to generalize the business doesnt mean that he considers all the women there whores or that he uses the term regurlaly.

As for trading accomplishments for adventures,i find frankly silly. It is an accomplishment that he has traveled allot and has learned the lay of the land quite quickly not to mention kept his head on the ground and his wallet in his pants. Can anyone here say that learning that trick was easy?

VB please know that i respect you and dont mean to insult you in anyway but it is becoming a habbit for vets to jump down newbies throats. In some occacions i side with the vets because newbies can be annoying but there comes a time when things go a little too far. You use the term gentlemen allot and this is fine but being a gentlemen doesnt mean that you are above new members. This is not some social club were people from the outside are spit in upon. Last i heard this was an open forum where everyone can express themselves (as long as its not attacks) freely.

So i suppose to sum up. CHILL OUT!

Oh and by the way Boogie, Welcome to the board i hope to read your reports.

Coqui.....I'm sorry that you find my comments "silly". As discussed before on this forum,I, amongst others, find the word the gentleman used to be distasteful. If you find it respectful,I think you are wrong. As far as my other comments being "silly" I think that this board is still for sharing and not bragging. As far as your comments about picking on newbies, I think I certainly do as much for the newbies on this site as anyone who posts here. Before you insult me like that,I think you should at least visit here for the first time and lend some of you expertise to the newbies.Talk is cheap. Sorry for going on the rag,but your comments struck a nerve.

There is no need to get defensive VB, my comments were not meant to "insult" as you clearly take it but to educate that in my honest opinion i did not think Boogie was being derogatory when he used the term "whore" usually when one is derogatory you elaborate more. He didnt, he probably chose the wrong word, so i didnt think it was worth you jumping down his throat over.

Run this web site past your local pastor or show it to others you associate with other than another monger and ask them if you are a genntleman!

Not meaning to attack you at all, but some guys that post here seem to act a lot like the gringas we go to CR to get away from.

Dude,

You needed to see the unedited post before you criticize the response. If you think that pastors have the corner on determining gentlemanly status, then you can use them for your source. Many of know we are gentlemen by virtue of a very strong code of ethics we use among one another and in the course of the hobby.

VB's original response was not intended to run the new guy out of town, but to encourage him to redirect his thought process so that he would come to appreciate the hobby even more.

Based on the fact that the original poster edited his post tends to make me think that he took the suggestions at face value. Good for him if so.

When I first discovered this site I didn't get this concept either, a bunch of umm... "mongers" talking about behaving like gentlemen, I thought surely they were all delusional or in denial. There was a lot of discussion at that time about the benefits of behaving a certain way in CR and with the chicas, especially by the GFE guys who had some amazing trip reports. There is a big difference and if your looking to enhance your total CR/GFE/CRT-Brotherhood experience then it is worth looking into. Of course some guys just want to drink and screw as much as possible while down there and that's ok too, for them.

After a couple trips I saw some "ugly Americans" in the gulch and met plenty of CRT gentlemen and the differences were obvious. The CRT guys had plenty of chica "friends" coming by the tables at Happy hr. for a kiss and a few laughs, and the obnoxious drunken loudmouth gringos had chicas avoiding them. Sure their money's still green but they have no clue.
So I learned and put it to use and being a "genlteman" adds more to the whole chica/CR experience than you can imagine.
Here's a few posts on the topic- I may dig up those old ones later...

If you are the last person posting you can edit - or delete - your post without leaving a trail.
If someone posts after you, and then you edit,
it will show that you edited.

VB .. your advice was dead on 100%

Coqui, you really need to read the posts from the vets and NOT have an emotional response. VB has more patience with newbies than anyone I know (Admins as well).

Admin, I hope this is not viewed as flaming, I just do not respect when a man who has helped me emmensely is being attacked.

Thank you
