Central America on alert for al Qaeda suspects 1 hour, 2 minutes ago



MANAGUA, Nicaragua (Reuters) - Central American countries went on alert on Tuesday for two al Qaeda suspects, including a Kenyan on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list, who were said to be in the region.



The above just posted on Yahoo news.

Great! Another excuse for the U.S. to send troops into Central America, and just when I thought they ran out of them.

Protecting U.S. borders is a necessity. Not an excuse. Terrorist have been linked to gangs in El Salvador also.

Propaganda is 'information that is spread for the purpose of promoting some cause'.

I am not posting propaganda. Just fact that I have knowledge of. More open-minded board members might find this info interesting.

I understand you do not want to go back and forth about this, and that is fine. I would reccomend reading on the history of US invovlement (read, intervention) in Central America to understand Sandinista's (an appropirate moniker for this disucssion) comment. Read Galleano or LaFaber, and then comment on Sandinista's comment.

Oh yeah, sex. I forgot about that. If you happen to head to Nicaragua to track down terrorists, check out the northern part of the country, up in the mountains (Estelí, Metagalpa, Jinotega). There are some incredible looking women up there, many of them with blue eyes. Stay at La Selva Negra. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel north of Metagalpa.
