Anyone know if it is normally available in the bars in the gulch? How about Tico places?

Southern and OJ is about all I drink these days.

Only a Southern Comfort drinker would know the answer.
My guess is it will be hard to find.

I just became a mixed drink drinker, so I have no idea. I was always just a beer drinker. I just wondered even if you dont normally drink it yourself, if you have seen it on the rail in the bars in SJ.

Im sure they have it some places. If your really worried about it buy a few bottles duty free and a flask. When you leave a bar in CR they take your beer and pour it into a plastic cup so you can take it with you and they can get the deposit on the bottle.

I have never seen Southern Comfort in the SJO duty free shops. Admittedly I have not looked for it but always pick up 8 bottles of booze on my return and mostly liqueur's to stock my bar so I think I would have seen it.

Although I don't drink Southern Comfort, I'm quite certain I've never
seen it in any bar in CR.

Just a suggestion...try the Ron Centenario (CR rum) and Coca Cola Light.
It's quite good!

I have seen it at Duty Free in SJO and I also had it at Kamur.. only two places I can vouch for it.

Thanks for the response guys. I had weight loss surgery in January so I cant have carbonated beverages anymore. So that is why I have switched to mixed drinks. So far the only one that has gone down well has been the OJ and Southern.

None of the suppliers I use have been able to provide Southern Comfort in this country and I have never seen it offered in any bar I have been in here.
