What time is it in San Jose:

Compared to central standard time in the U.S.. I know they are in the central TimeZone but they do not do the daylight savings time thing. Am a little confused. Yes I know that's not a new thing.

Right now it is 8:52pm in Dallas.
It is 7:52 in SJO.
In the winter they are the same time.

Costa Rica is on Central Standard time all year. They do not follow daylight saving time.

EST- CST minus 1
EDT-CST minus 2

CST-CST same
CDT-CST minus 1

MST-CST plus 1
MDT-CST same

PST-CST plus 2
PDT-CST plus 1

All +/- are compared to CST

we are the oddballs in the whole country...on est.. the powers that be are trying to change it right now in the ind. senate..Like everything else, well see if there is progress, doubt it....

When I lived in IN I loved the way they ignored daylight savings time.
Why do you want it?
