It's not that the language is difficult to write, these bitches can't spell! Or else Texas&Vegas can't spell what the bitches are spelling. Or both.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

T&V,

Taken out of context, the sentence doesn't make much sense. Cyberchunk has got it right on though. Literally the sentence says:

no mas que, no seas tan rogado

no more what, don't be so begged.

quick Spanish explaination:

The first part sounds like you have been saying "no more" about something, and she's trying to find out what you are talking about. For example (to be redundant), if someone says "no mas", and I don't what they are talking about, I would go "no mas que?"

Rogar is to beg, and usually someone who is ROGADO is someone who is is being begged or playing hard to get, though I guess it can be used in other forms. If you are being vague, abrupt or cryptic on whatever it is that you don't want, this could interpret as "Quit making me have to ask and making it seem like pulling teeth to get information out of you" Soooo, in the end, she is saying, (IMO):

"What are you referring to that you want no more of? Stop making it so difficult to get information out of you."

Hope this helps,

Ruffnutz

That's for damn sure! Also, they very seldom use periods at the
end of sentences. Don't they teach basic grammar in school in CR?

That was the entire e-mail she sent me.
It was in response to one I sent her that said:
Quote:
No Mas, Por favor!

I was saying quit asking for money.
Quit bothering me.

Ruffnutz has it right...
She is asking you what do you mean ...no more?
Then she is saying that you are getting hard to play.

Are we talking something you heard spoken, or was this written down?

That doesn't quite make sense. I think you may have heard what she said a bit wrong. Could you be mixing up no seas (familiar "don't be") with no te haz (familiar "don't become"). Was she perhaps saying ...

no mas que, no te haz tan rogado

hacerse de rogar = to make oneself hard to get, to be hard to get

"no more than, don't be so hard to get"

That is the complete message, copied and pasted from her e-mail to me.
She has a 4th grade eduction, so anything is possible, spelling-wise.

She's saying, don't be hard to get.

This ain't Salon. Most Americans write as if they had only a fourth grade education when they go online.
