I'm currently serving in Iraq and trying to determine how to spend my two week mid tour leave. Wife ran off so I'm thinking I deserve to get some. Anyhoo I need advice on where to go. CR sounds great but are there any better places. I think the Army will pay for my flight to about anywhere. Thiland, Argintina, Eastern Europe, and Australia are all places I've considered and wanted to go, but I been married a while and gave up those ideas. I've been to TJ years ago and think I could probally have as much fun in MX for possibly less money. Soon to be EX is taking over a third my pay so dinero is a consideration. I speak german and a smattering of spanish. I may not get the chance to go wherever I end up again so the question boils down to; Where do I go to get laid the most, have the most fun, for the leat money in a place I may not get go again. I also have a SGT here with me who has family in CR. She is suposed to get some pics of her cousins there. Could be a cool hook up too. Thanks for any help, especially from those who have traveled alot. I've done some "travling in search of better wages", just not this kind. |

One of the factors you should consider is travel time. The longer the trip, the less time to play, and your increased fatigue will detract from the experience. If you are starting in Iraq, and can get a flight to Thailand or the Philipines, that is what I would do. If you are starting in the States I would go to Costa Rica. Narrow down your destination, and there is lots of advice available. PS: I salute you for your service! |

SSG Loco, If I was in your boots I would be real nice & stay close to that SGT friend of yours. I think see might hold some important keys to your future!! Families are tight in Costa Rica & having an introduction like that can open doors you might not get into easy. I would also practice Spanish with her what do you have to loose? Is she good loooking? If you are travelling from Iraq, I'd recommend Thailand, closest and easiest destination for mongering. Europe (including russia and the Ukraine) are a little closer but the availability of girls in even Bangkok will blow you away. In Feb I met a contractor in a Thai bar who told me that he was on a mid contract break, something similar. Thousands of lovelies to hunt and Phuck. |

SSG Loco, First, thank you for your service. Second, I'm not very experienced at world wide P4P, but I have been to Thailand, and if money and time are your main concern, and since you are in Iraq, if I were in your shoes, I would go to Bangkok Thailand for a couple of days just to see the sights, and of course have fun with the ladies, then head down to Pattaya Thailand for the rest of my R&R. I belive that there are 3 ports of debarcation, Frankfurt, Dallas, and Atlanta. My 15 days should start from when I leave one of these. Also dose anyone know if Thiland/ south east Asia has recovered from that sunami? My leave isn't untill September so I have time to figure all this out. I just keep thinking of more questions though. I have to fly in DCU's and don't have any civilan cloths to bring. Will ariving in any of these places in uniform be a plroblem? My freind here is cute as hell and nice to boot, however a buddy got divorced before me and beat me to it. I'm practicing spanish, and german with renewed intrest in anticipation of my upcoming leave. Hell truth is; all this reading message broards and creating something to look forward to is an effort to get past my breakup, and not lose the edge I need here daily to function. |

Hey SSG Loco I also want to thank you for your service & have great respect for you! The great thing you have going for you now is the best part of your life is about to begin. Look how many options you have & no one is breathing fire up you asss about it. To bad your last babe didn't call it quits sooner as you could have been with your SGT. Why the little b!!!!!

SSG Loco: I highly recommend you get on the plane to Bangkok. There's no problem with sunami damage. Went there myself on RR but that was like a 1000 years a-go. You get more for your money there than anyplace else combined with some very nice hotels to stay in. Thank you very much for your service. Yeah, if you use Dallas as a debarcation point, Rio would work. I'm heading there tomorrow myself. But keep in mind that you will be doing a hell of a lot of travelling from Iraq to the US to wherever you go. If you have to debark from Frankfort, I've heard of the FKK clubs there. You will also save time flying from Frankfort direct to Rio rather than going via the US. But still keep Thailand in mind! |

It's a lot cheaper in Thailand (for the women that is) but from the 3 ports of embarkation has has to choose from it is pretty expensive. CR, is a decent price but when you get there it gets expensive $100 a pop. Rio from Dallas isn't too bad and the women are definitely fun. I've heard the FKK's are pretty expensive too. There are many choices and many +'s and -'s to each. I'm biased to Rio (even over CR). IMO, it's best bang for your buck. Plus after spending many months in a desert and eating in the mess tents. I think being at the beach near the ocean and eating good food at the Churricaria's for 2 weeks will do the man good. Oh, yeah and the women aren't bad either
