Last night I stopped in at the DR for Happy Hour for a short time. I had a date coming to my house at 7pm so I left the DR at 6pm to allow plenty of time for the usual 15-20 minute taxi ride home. (I still operate on Gringo time)Well close to 8pm I arrived home. The Auto Vista was closed because as I was told,the President was on the road so it was closed and basically shut down the entire transportation system. So Paradise isn't ALWAYS Paradise,but it's still better than the snow and freezing cold of up North. |

Geeez Bob, talk about kicking us poor bastards in the balls. Only 3 days till SPRING.  35 degrees and raining here today. 
O.K. I need to make a smart ass remark - I couldn't imagine having to move to another country just to get a date.

Since she was operating on Tico time you probably still got there in plenty of time.
