It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill, beloved proprietor of the Sportsmens Lodge and a cherished member of our community. As the heart and soul behind the lodge, Bill dedicated his life to creating a welcoming haven for guests and friends alike. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of many who knew and admired him. Bill's legacy will continue to inspire us through the memories and impact he left behind. Memorial Service A memorial service to honor Bill's life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Sportsmens Lodge. We invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating his life and sharing stories of his kindness and influence. This gathering will be a time to reflect on the joy and wisdom he brought to those around him. Continuation of Hotel Operations Management of the Sportsmans Lodge would like to reassure our community and guests that the operations of the hotel will remain unchanged. Manfred, the General Manager, brings 18 years of experience in the industry, with 14 of those years dedicated to serving as the manager at the Sportsmens Lodge. Under his caring leadership, the lodge will continue to uphold the high standards and commitment to service that Bill valued so deeply. We thank everyone for their support during this difficult time and look forward to seeing you at the memorial to pay tribute to Bill's remarkable life. |

No words to describe or express my heartfelt condolences to Bill's family & friends. We were there at the beginning of it all and had some unbelievable memories that were created. He was more than just a friend to me and the CRT community as he was part of something that will never ever be forgotten. Things are different in C.R. now, and with Bill's passing they will never be the same. RIP my old friend may you soar with the angels. Tomas |
