Here we are, another St, Patricks day and not one establinent has offered a traditional
St.Patricks day lunch . Years past there was always one or teo who would offer a
lunch celebrating the day. But alas no more. So sad to see these tradicions fade
away. But as the song says" you never know what you got till it's gone"

Did Sportsmen's offer anything?

With high cost of food I could see why restaurants would not want to order or make special food for one day.

Nowhere in the valley offered anything? Escazu?

A very sad Mr. Green indeed

It looks like there were a few locations that had St. Patrick's Day events. I googled it and found some listed in AM Costa Rica.

An amigo & I celebrated SPD @ a local saloon here in Las Vegas last night. $2 green beers, $5 Guiness & Irish whisky & a $16 platter of corned beef, cabbage, Irish potatoes & carrots. A great way to celebrate my Irish heritage. Sometimes it is better to be home than in Latin America but the tradeoff is I did not get any girlie action!

Craic Irish Pub, Barrio la California, San Jose, CR. Irish Food, Music, Beer all week. The folk band had fiddle, bodharan, bag pipes, guitar and a cute auburn haired lassie playing the mouth organ. they were pouring Guinness and Jameson. sláinte mhath @craic_irish_pub

The big party was Saturday/Sunday and they closed Monday for hangovers (like usual). I had a few Irish Coffees in honor of ID, they were magically delicious. Quit yer bellyachin', pansie boys.
