As some may be aware, the inside back page of each issue of Consumer Reports is devoted to over-the-top, asinine, ignorant, and/or dishonest marketing ploys.
This month, down in the lower right hand corner of the page is a photo of a yellow “Kid-Powered Hummer†vehicle. Apparently on the packaging was the following note:
“Attachable wench adds to real Hummer adventures.â€
