They are all pretty quiet. My Favorite is room 18 because it is on the lower-level right in front of bar and has a balcony. What are you looking for? Up on top they have some nice penthouse rooms.

I always waste money on myself and do the Penthouse Rooms. They are real nice and plenty of room.

I stayed at the Capitan room which is on the 2nd floor. I enjoyed it but the all inclusive food was the best value.

Question about Castillo. It's been years since I stayed there once. Do the beds still scoot across the floor when you're rockin' em'? Also, do the parrots still act as Costa Rican roosters? I couldn't sleep past sunrise due to the 1000's of parrots in the trees outside my room.

I last stayed there in 2022 and yes the phucking parrots start an hour before dawn like they have for years. The beds do not slide as much as before. LOL

Price difference between standard rooms and penthouses are honestly not too much difference. Penthouses all amazing of the 3. I prefer the corner ones.

If you do not want to pay that I would suggest at least a king Balcony.

Another suggestion, if they are still open, is the La Amistad(Same owners and only 2 blocks away). They have Penthouses with 2-person 28 jet side by side Jacuzzi and Sauna in some rooms. Other than the hotel by railroad tracks, it is very very nice to stay at. Their beds are some of the most comfortable in Costa Rica. I believe they all have 8 inch memory foam toppers.

Taormina tons of working girls, Castillo usually a few around the bar(busier on popular nights), La Amistad is strictly when they are their with guest. So if your woman is worried about perception or something. La Amistad the most chill/hidden of the three.
