Just wondering if this new VIP item has piqued anyone's interest yet. Sounds like it could be fun - though you're going to be expected to hit the gambling tables pretty hard. I'll be interested in hearing about it from anyone who ends up going. |

GR: First off, I will most likely attend the 1st weekend, and give a real honest assessment of the talent and the overall accomodations and expierience. We have also talked to the marketers of this program and yes They are trying to bring Gamblers to Byblos that is the entire idea. On the flip side Not everyone here is a big gambler, so we are working on a price of a $10.00 average bet for 3 hours per day and the price for CRT would be $199.00 excluding airfare. If you have ever played in any Casino these days, the do not even rate you any more if you are not a $25.00 player and above, not to mention you get almost nothing in comps if your not towards a 100.00 per hand and 4 hours a day. I personally believe this is a happy medium and if your any type of a gambler at all the 10.00 average hand is truly a goo deal for all you would get. |

Looking at their website and the normal rate for rooms outside of their party package, I'll probably go there but not part of the 'package'. I'm not really a gambler - even in Vegas I sit at the $3 blackjack tables for hours but don't even consider betting $10 a hand. Too great a love for women, booze and food (in that order) to take a chance on gambling away my mongering dollars. The hotel and casino look very attractive, the price isn't bad and from their photo's, it looks like their bar is very well stocked with ladies just waiting to be picked up. Looks like a slightly more expensive but nicer alternative to Jaco! |
