At first I thought it was the Cialis wearing off .. but now I realize that whenevr I hear a woman speak spanish, I get a hard-on.

Heck, I just started private spanish lessons (with a hottie!!!), and had a 2hr hard on.

Anyone get this?

I caution - you are about to hear some more of my theory stuff. The human mind is a very trainable thing. It never turns off the subconscious is running all the time. You're learning and being trained every minute of they day and night. Simply put you mind is learning to relate anything Spanish to sex. In short it has learned that if there is a Spanish-speaking woman in the room your chances of getting laid greatly increased.

I find my behavior in the presence of a Lady of Spanish dissent is different than if she was not. Subconsciously my ego is telling me her heritage makes her more accessible to me. Simply because in the last few years most women that I have been with were Spanish. Just theory.

One other thing:

This falls in the category of strange rationale. Although I visit Costa Rica a number of times each year I have made no effort to learn much Spanish. There are several reasons for this. One is I'm just not very good at language. The other is defensive. If I cannot have long involved conversations it is easier to not become involved. No different than any of the human being on the planet I get lonely. A man at this stage in his life who is financially comfortable but alone could find all kinds of rationale to believe a lovely thing of 22 is in love with him. Not speaking Spanish makes it much easier to just go home when the party is over. Yes another one of my strange rationale's.

You have just proven how we are just another animal on the planet! Like the dog or rodent with the electro shock or bell associated training. Hey be careful with Lee he has fast feet. Lee think you are short changing yourself by not learning Spanish. My trips are 10 times as much fun now as before when I new very little but I understand your logic. When I first went to CR I thought all those beautiful smiles were real & the Ticas didn't lie. How could someone as pretty with that sweet smile be able to do this? Well I know much more now & in some ways it was nice to live in a complete fantasy.

I agree with you Zippy. Having a good understanding of Spanish would improve the overall quality of a trip. But at this stage of things my system is working and I am a person who has always believed that if it ain't broke do not fix it. In a few years when I am retired and have much more time to spend their I will change the program.

Texas&Vegas: my theories of negotiations is probably a little different than most others. I have two strategies I decide which to use after observing the Lady over some time. One is for the well-trained professional. By observing her I can usually tell if she's a good provider or a hit-and-run artist's. I actually like the well-trained professional if they provide good service. I find I get the best results with the Lady in this category if I pay what their asking but get specific about time and services rendered. As for language a Lady in this category knows enough English to close the deal.

My second strategy is for the girl who is obviously new at this. If my observations indicate she is there alone and very nervous I use my second strategy. That is to set only price. By only setting price she has no expectation of what is expected of her. As long as you act in a polite and nonthreatening manner you can obtained just about any service you like. She is not preprogrammed to behave in a certain manner. Just two more of my theories. The second strategy requires virtually no Spanish. You walke into the room with a clean slate.

From what you just said it looks like you understand more than some guys that I know that speak fairly good Spanish. Looks like you do a lot on the sly too me. Want to see your thoughts on all this after you retire & speak more. Either way you know what you are doing & having a great time. From your posts I guess you to be very observant & wise. Once you know more of the language I bet you take your skills to another level.

Also it is a very good mental exercise to push yourself a little here. We need to keep the cerebral circulation going strong or all the ED drugs will not help us. They have proven if you learn a second language later in life & one has a stroke that hits the speech center you usually keep one language but if you learn both as a Ch*ld the stroke that hits the speech center takes out both languages. This is proof that we have to learn in a different area of the speech center when we are older which makes it all that much harder but pushing yourself maybe worth more than we think. And look at Hand-Solo what it is all doing to that nice man God help him, he will be having wet dreams again only this go around he will be dreaming in SPanish!
