Post subject:  Best source to find girls for travel prior to visit?
Anyone had success using Badoo, Tinder, Seeking recently? Which worked best for you. Trying to find a girl to travel for a few days to different parts of the country to I wanted to start before I got in country.

Also, anyone done any STD testing in country? How fast is the turn around? Where did you do it, preferably in San Jose?

STD testing is widely available in San Jose through Lab chains, clinics, and hospitals. Cost, range of conditions and time to get the tests vary widely (onsite lab, blood draw, urine, swabs, anal probing etc.)

Clinica Biblica Example
1. You can WhatsApp them at 506 8595 7000 and follow the prompts in English or Spanish.

3. I do this routinely for myself or to vet a small group of regular 'semi-pros' before ditching the condom (I am sterile). As of February 2024, ENFECCIONES DE TRANSMISSION SEXUAL DETECCION POR PCR (Basic things) was c43,870. PERFIL DE INFECCION DE TRANSMISSION SEXUAL II was c73,560 and PERFIL COMPLETO DE ETS III was c95,930. As a resident here, I participate in their MiVida program which gives me a 15% discount on lab tests (also medicines, xrays, etc)
4. I usually get one of these with other tests (diabetes, hypertension, priapism) and get results by email in a couple of days (depending on the tests a culture must be grown). The lab is in the main floor of the hospital, open 24x7, no script needed, no appointment, cash or credit card accepted, nothing reported to your home doctor or insurance carrier or spouse (disclaimer: I don't know about reporting if it is something bad and expect they might have to report that to the health ministry).

CR is pretty open about these matters. Having recent clear tests have given me access to chicas that would never go with a tourist. Having my own apartment helps. Sometimes it feels like I am running my own college/grad school scholarship program.

Thanks for the complete answer. It doesn't look like any of those test you listed was for HIV but maybe I just don't recognize the Spanish wording for it.

PS there is also a strip club 1 block south of the hospital and several loca pensions and pickup bars nearby.
