I signed up for Global entry last year used it twice , the last time was in November 2023 in Fort Lauderdale. Was told by CBP officer that next time I came back I would need to use the app, the kiosk would be gone. Checked the CBP website its only offered ay select airports. Did not see fort Lauderdale as one of them, Miami yes. Any updated info? are the Global entry kiosk still there.? Fort Lauderdale? Flaco in Fort Lauderdale |

I was told something similar last December coming thru Atlanta, they still had kiosks at that time and no mention of the removal of GE kiosks but the Officer mentioned to consider using the app in the future to skip line at kiosk for faster processing. That immediately intrigued me to do some research and I found and read this article about the process and according to their info on TPG the Ft. Lauderdale now is an option on the list. Tried the app last month, it produces an error saying "you must be close to the airport in order to submit this article" or some such non sense, indicting the GPS on my phone was faulty when it's clearly not. Kiosk were still working. |

As of last month the kiosks were still there and active at FLL. |
