Manual Antonio is 3 1/2 hours from San Jose by Car, less than 1 hour From Jaco...

Sansa is $88.00 RTrip and is about 18 Minutes in the Air and they leave from Pavas Airport... Sansa is the way to go in my opinion.

Admin 1...Sansa leaves from the 'main' (Juan Santamaria)
airport. Their (small) terminal is just north of the main terminal.
Nature Air (formerly TravelAir) flies out of Pavas.

I have only flown Nature to Quepos, but I have seen Sansa aircraft at Pavas, and didn't ask where they were going so I have no idea. Thanks for the clarification, guess I better find out where the Sansa flight at Pavas goes?

THIS WILL BE A WEEKLY EVENT BEGINNING APRIL 7TH! Every Thursday to Sunday!

Just a word of advice when flying Sansa. Always reconfirm your flight
and reservations at least a few hours in advance. One time a chica and I were booked on a flight to Quepos, and were told upon arriving at the terminal that the flight was canceled because apparently we were the only ones booked on that flight. We had to take the next flight to Quepos, which was three or four hours later. I've never flown NatureAir, but I would advise to reconfirm with them as well.

One time while leaving from Quepos on Sansa, I flew from a different perspective. As the flight was full, and I was the last person on, they had me sit in the co-pilots seat. That was fun!

We do not get involved in any aspect of that nature with regards to cost of women etc.... I assume there will be plenty of freelance talent, and whoever attends will have to negotiate for themselves.

Looking foward to some reports from the event.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it Nature Air that is based out of Pavas and not Sansa?

having logged about a dozen Sansa flights, unless it has changed very recently they operate as Ding Dong said from a small terminal at the main airport.

The only problem I have found with them is the weight restrictions for those small planes. I carried a large amount of baggadge, on my last flight, to Golfito and ran into a problem, 3 obese gringos. Several people had to stay behind since one of them weighed more then two people normally should. The plane could only hold so much wieght, and the gringos started complaining about it, even blaming me since I had multiple bags. I already arranged with Sansa to have my bags placed on the next flight, but held my tongue and smile although I wanted to say so many things to them. Sometimes, I hate being from the U.S. when I see such behaviour.

Anyway, that was the only problem I have had, and the bags did arrive, although a couple hours late. Also, if you not a fan of bumpy rides, Sansa might be a poor idea. I flew back from Golfito, to San Jose, once in a rain storm. First we had to wait on the ground until the clouds opened up enough so that he could take off. According to the pilot needed visual to get out of the tiny runway in Golfito, then when we were up in that little one engine plane, in the clouds and rain, not fun............not fun at all.
