Banco Nacional rate today is c660 to $1. Some banks as much as c671 to $1. So c50mil = $75, $60mil = $90. Usually, there is not much reason for WC's cien boys to pay in colones but $10 is $10. Just don't try and hold on to them between trips. The exchange rate knife is dropping, don't try to catch it. BTW,, c20mil is now $30. |

My first trip in 91. The rate was 290 to one. So the client Boys were paying 30mil, as it climbed, 50 mil was paid, still $100. Now it's still $100 but nearly 70 mil. Go figure |

Okay gotcha, so I’m general colones are worth less compared to the U.S. dollar. I definitely don’t want to be a cien boy but we’ll see what we’re working with down there. I’ll be there end of April into early may. Might have to check out the pensións. |
