Lets start it up again then. First timer going in June looking forward to contributing. Hoping for more advice/stories before I start telling my own!

Too many critics on the board now. A lot of the long timers will read your story just to tell you how stupid you were. How you should’ve done your visit the right way because only they know how to do it the right way. Some will be quick to tell you how you spent way too much money, the chica you chose wasn’t hot enough or how which ever place you go was so much better 20 years ago. Their resume will include 1 million trips to Costa Rica and how they have lived there off and on for 100 years and speak perfect Spanish. I knew when I read Netgems trip report and someone decided to make a comment about what the definition of a Philly cheesesteak was that the board was at an all-time low.

First, when you publish anything on the internet, you open yourself up to opinions/criticism. If you can't take it, don't post.
