One Tica called me (video call) when I was in Costco and saw some clothing for K*ds during the call, she wanted to know if I could get the clothes for her K*D - about $30 in clothes. Also, I was going to send leftover Halloween candy. I went to UPS and they said it would cost $1,111. Not a joke. They printed the estimate. No, not a big box or a heavy box. Now it’s the K*D’s birthday and she wanted to know if I could send it. After that quote, I said no. Is there a cheap way to send small packages to San José? |

There are dozens of mail/package forwarding companies in Miami - Google "Envios paquetes Costa Rica desde Miami" and you'll see multiple listings. I've used this one to send small packages to Costa Rica: https://www.libertyexpress.com/ Cost was about 30 US and they delivered in about 3 business days to the recipient's home. WARNING!!! Because it's Xmas time , expect higher than normal pricing. And delays. |
